Wife of Alexander Stine. The couple
immigrated from Völkersleier, Germany, in 1834. On the same
vessel were Michael Greenawalt and his
wife, Rachel, probably close relatives of
theirs. The two families never parted ever since. After a few months in
Maryland they moved to Hanover, York Co., Pa., before establishing
themselves in Chambersburg in 1847.
